100. Permanent Seat Licenses – permanent seat licenses are a financing technique that many major sports franchises use to raise a lot of money to put toward the construction of a new stadium.  You are buying the right to buy tickets each year for a specific seat location.

Buying the PSL directly from the franchise is usually a very poor investment and not something you can profitably sell.

However, there is an opportunity to make money as an investor if you can buy a resale PSL cheap enough from someone looking to get out.

PSLs helped cover the cost of the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium. It opened in 2009.
