75. Lifetime Warranties – sometimes you can buy something damaged for very little money (certain types of clothes, knives, luggage, electronics, etc.) that actually has value because the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty on the product.
As long as the warranty is transferable, you can stand to benefit by exercising the warranty and getting the item repaired or replaced.
Typically the person who sold you the damaged item either did not know they could get a replacement for it, or did not want to fool with the process.
