52. Golf Courses – the golf industry on the whole has been on the decline for some time. Covid did stop this decline and bring on more players and more rounds played, but the more popular courses were the main beneficiaries of this.
Great golf courses and premiere country clubs continue to be in high demand while a lot of below average courses have become unprofitable and put up for sale.
There is a way to make money buying a struggling golf course, but it is usually dependent on some type of redevelopment of some or all of the course.
