37. Dim Sum Bonds – these bonds which are denominated in the Chinese currency (renminbi) allow foreign investors to invest in the debt of Chinese companies.
Other issuers including a few American companies and even foreign countries have also issued dim sum bonds.
Investing in dim sum bonds is a mix between investing in bonds and speculating on a foreign currency.
